Business Verification Policy

What "Verified" means

A Verified badge means Teesside Business Hub has completed both of the following checks, on the date shown on the profile:

1. Contact details checked — we have confirmed the phone number and/or email address reach the business.
2. Business details reviewed — we have reviewed the business name, location or service area and the services described against evidence supplied by the business or publicly available records.

What it does not mean

Verification is not a recommendation and not a guarantee of the quality of work. We do not inspect premises, workmanship or qualifications unless stated.

Verification cannot be bought

Paying for advertising never grants a Verified badge. Verification is recorded separately and can be removed if information changes or a concern is raised.
